The Department of Theater Arts at Brandeis University seeks an instructor for the THA 147a, Latinx Theater, 4-credit course in the spring of 2024 (January 10 - May 14).
This is a survey and practice oriented course for undergraduate students interested in learning about the history and legacies of Latinx theater. Students will read assigned work, write critical reflections and create original works. The class meets on Mondays and Wednesdays from 4:05-5:25 p.m.
Candidates with a master’s degree and undergraduate-level teaching experience will be given preference. Interested individuals should submit a cover letter, CV, a draft course syllabus, and names and contact information for two references. The deadline for first consideration is November 15, 2023.
This appointment is to a position that is in a collective bargaining unit represented by SEIU Local 509.
