Requirements
  • A diploma or bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, Logistics, or a related field is required.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in supply chain, procurement, inventory management, logistics, or a related role is required.
  • Experience working with enterprise resource planning or materials requirements planning systems and inventory management software is required.
  • Experience coordinating with suppliers, carriers, and cross-functional stakeholders is required.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including reporting and data analysis, are required.
  • The candidate must have strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • The candidate must have excellent organizational skills and be able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • The candidate must have strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • The candidate must demonstrate high attention to detail, accuracy, and accountability.

Responsibilities
  • Create, issue, and maintain purchase orders to support production schedules and operational needs.
  • Communicate with suppliers regarding order status, shortages, delivery timelines, schedule changes, and quality concerns.
  • Monitor supplier performance, lead times, delivery commitments, and order fulfillment.
  • Maintain accurate supplier, pricing, purchasing, and enterprise resource planning data.
  • Monitor inventory levels and support stock availability for production and customer requirements.
  • Analyze inventory trends and help identify opportunities to reduce excess and obsolete materials and carrying costs.
  • Work with Manufacturing, Engineering, Customer Support, Warehouse, and supplier teams to resolve material availability and supply chain issues.
  • Support material planning, demand forecasting, production scheduling, and planning parameters such as lead times, safety stock, and reorder points.
  • Coordinate inbound and outbound domestic and international shipments.
  • Work with freight carriers, customs brokers, and logistics providers to support timely deliveries.
  • Generate and analyze supply chain reports and performance metrics, including supplier performance, inventory accuracy, on-time delivery, and inventory turns.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on inventory optimization, process efficiency, cost reduction, and operational excellence.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience in a manufacturing, automation, technology, healthcare, or regulated industry environment.
  • Experience with enterprise resource planning systems such as Microsoft Dynamics 365, Business Central, Finance and Operations, SAP, Epicor, NetSuite, Oracle, or similar platforms.
  • Experience supporting enterprise resource planning implementations, upgrades, migrations, or master data cleanup initiatives.
  • A professional supply chain designation or certification such as SCMP, APICS/ASCM, CPIM, or CSCP.
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, and root cause problem-solving methods.
