Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Operations, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future
  • 2+ years of professional experience in management consulting, deployment strategy, technical program management, operations, or a similar client-facing strategic role
  • Demonstrated track record of driving complex projects to measurable outcomes in client or stakeholder-facing environments
  • Strong analytical foundation — comfortable with spreadsheets, ROI modeling, basic SQL, and quantitative reasoning
  • Python literacy is a plus but not required
  • Working knowledge of modern AI capabilities and what LLMs, agents, and RAG systems can and can't do and the judgment to scope realistic AI solutions vs. avoid AI theater
  • Ability to work independently in ambiguous, fast-moving client environments
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Problem-solver who gets energy from sitting across the desk from a real operator and figuring out where the friction actually is
Responsibilities
  • Embed directly with clients to run discovery, interviewing operators across roles, observing live workflows, and mapping current-state processes that surface high-ROI opportunities for AI and automation
  • Build the business case for each engagement: quantify the cost of the status quo, model expected ROI, and prioritize a sequenced roadmap of automation opportunities the client can act on
  • Design future-state workflows in detail: process diagrams, decision logic, exception handling, human-in-the-loop checkpoints, and integration touchpoints, all to a level of specificity engineering can build against
  • Partner with an AI Engineer throughout the build, translating client requirements into technical specs, validating outputs against business intent, and brokering trade-offs (quality vs. speed vs. cost vs. risk) in plain language
  • Lead change management on the client side: stakeholder alignment, communication plans, training rollout, and adoption tracking
  • Own the client relationship end-to-end: scope, expectations, status updates, escalations, and executive readouts. Serve as the single point of accountability for client outcomes
  • Run post-deployment business reviews to measure realized impact, surface follow-on opportunities, and build the case for portfolio expansion
  • Contribute internally by codifying reusable discovery frameworks, ROI models, workflow templates, and industry playbooks that scale across the practice
Desired Qualifications
  • Prior consulting experience at a top firm (MBB, Big 4 Strategy, Deloitte, Accenture, or boutique strategy/operations firm) or a deployment-strategy / forward-deployed role at a software company
  • Experience leading process re-engineering, workflow automation, or digital transformation engagements end-to-end
  • Familiarity with workflow automation platforms (Zapier, Make, n8n) or major SaaS systems (CRMs, ERPs, ticketing, document management) at the level of "I can spec an integration without help"
  • Experience working with SMB clients across industries such as professional services, healthcare, logistics, or retail
Lyra Technology Group

Lyra Technology Group

View

Lyra Technology Group is a portfolio-based parent that builds a network of managed IT service providers (MSPs) across North America. It acquires MSPs and provides them with permanent capital, shared resources, and a community of peers, while allowing each acquired company to keep its brand, leadership, and culture and operate independently under its existing management. The group also operates Lyra Recovery, a division focused on ransomware and data breach remediation. Its approach centers on decentralized decision-making by local leaders, continuous growth through acquisitions, and ensuring that the independent MSPs retain their identity while benefiting from the backing and infrastructure of Lyra and Evergreen Services Group. The ultimate goal is to expand a large, coast-to-coast MSP network serving more than 10,000 organizations, by adding leading MSPs and supporting their growth without divestment, using permanent capital from its backers.
