Strong Responsive & Interactive HTML Email Development experience
Experience developing reusable, templated frameworks
Front end web development experience (React, Typescript, HTML5, CSS, SASS/LESS, JQuery, AJAX)
Knowledge in A/B testing and post-campaign analysis
Experience testing, troubleshooting, and optimizing across multiple browsers, platforms, and email clients
Solid understanding of email best practices
Experience working with product development teams
Experience working with other messaging channels such as SMS and messaging apps
Experience building In-Product messaging flows
Experience with localization systems and internationalization best practices for email/messaging
Experience utilizing UI design tools such as Sketch or Figma, with a strong sense of web design and UX fundamentals

The Netflix Messaging Engineering Experiences team builds the messages to communicate with Netflix members across their entire lifecycle. Our messaging portfolio ranges from acquisition to onboarding and pricing to recommendations. We send messages across outbound and in-app channels, including email, push notifications, SMS, in-app notifications, and in-app interstitials that reach members across various devices.

At Netflix, messaging is part of the core Netflix product. We are unique in the Netflix product as one of few teams that can speak to our customers outside the Netflix app. On this team, you will partner with product management, design, and data analysts to help shape and drive the direction of the product. Your passionate ideas are encouraged and expected.

Technical Skills needed for the role:
