Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Data or Information Systems, Engineering, or a related quantitative field
  • 0-3+ years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, financial systems, or analytics, ideally in a high-growth, data-intensive, or startup environment
  • Strong FP&A fundamentals: budgeting, forecasting, and three-statement financial logic
  • Advanced Excel plus hands-on technical skill with at least one of SQL, Python, or a modern BI and analytics tool (for example, Power BI), with comfort connecting and transforming data across systems
  • Familiarity with the systems in our stack or close analogues: NetSuite OneWorld (ERP), UKG (HRIS and payroll), Carta (equity), bank platforms, and Primavera P6, plus comfort working with their data models and APIs
  • Genuine fluency with AI tools and a demonstrated instinct for automating manual workflows
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable owning ambiguous, build-from-scratch problems in a fast-paced environment
Responsibilities
  • Own the FP&A data architecture across the company's systems of record: NetSuite OneWorld (ERP: GL, AP/AR, fixed assets, procurement, consolidation and eliminations), NetSuite CRM (accounts, opportunities, pipeline), UKG (people, comp, payroll, timekeeping), Carta (cap table, grants, vesting), bank platforms, Primavera P6 (project schedules), and the Brookfield JV package.
  • Maintain the feeds into NOS, respecting the two intake paths (sources that route through the ERP first versus those that land directly in NOS) and the data-governance model (vendor SOC 1 sources versus data validated at intake, such as Primavera P6 and the Brookfield JV package).
  • Build and maintain the pipelines and a single source of truth for actuals, plan, and driver data, and define and enforce data hygiene, metric definitions, and reporting standards across the function.
  • Design and maintain the FP&A toolchain and reporting layer, including BI dashboards and the corporate reporting package.
  • Build and maintain cost tracking for the Nuclear Operating System (NOS) and broader technology, cloud, and AI spend, connecting engineering and infrastructure cost drivers to the financial plan.
  • Partner with Engineering and Accounting to ensure technology costs are captured, allocated, and reported accurately.
  • Own the tooling, connectivity, and automation behind the budget and forecast: driver-based inputs (for example, headcount and payroll from UKG, schedules from Primavera P6, and actuals from NetSuite), model integration, and the elimination of manual, repetitive build steps.
  • Partner with the corporate FP&A analyst who operates the recurring planning cycle, providing the infrastructure that makes each cycle faster and cleaner.
  • Identify, pilot, and deploy AI and automation across FP&A workflows, progressing toward agentic AI and a scalable, largely self-service process architecture.
  • Serve as the function's champion for leveraging NOS and emerging tools to improve the speed, quality, and impact of financial work.
  • Define and document FP&A processes, templates, and system standards so the function is scalable, auditable, and resilient.
  • Contribute to public-company readiness by strengthening process discipline, controls, and documentation across FP&A data and reporting.
Desired Qualifications
  • Hands-on experience with NetSuite (OneWorld or SuiteAnalytics), UKG, Carta, or Primavera P6, or with integrating source-system APIs into a central data platform
  • Experience building or administering an FP&A planning platform (for example, Anaplan, Pigment, or Planful)
  • Experience with data pipeline and ETL tooling and version control (for example, Git)
  • Experience developing AI or agentic workflows (LLM APIs, retrieval, or agent frameworks) in a business or finance context
  • Exposure to public-company reporting, IPO readiness (including equity administration changes at listing), or SOX-relevant process documentation
  • Interest in or exposure to energy, infrastructure, or other capital-intensive industries

The Nuclear Company launches NOS Security platform to protect US nuclear infrastructure

The Nuclear Company has launched NOS Security, a next-generation security platform designed to protect nuclear energy infrastructure across the United States and allied nations. The system combines AI-enabled monitoring, autonomous drones, robotics, advanced sensing, cyber defence and real-time intelligence into a single platform. Led by Mike Marty, former head of security for Tesla Gigafactory operations, and Edward "Lee" Doby, who previously led security programmes at Southern Nuclear's Vogtle Units 3 and 4, the platform addresses growing threats including drone attacks and cyber-physical warfare targeting critical infrastructure. The system is designed to meet Nuclear Regulatory Commission requirements and will initially support The Nuclear Company's own construction projects before being offered to operating utilities and allied partners seeking to modernise existing security infrastructure.

Brookfield and The Nuclear Company Partner to form new company to accelerate nuclear development in the U.S. Français. May 04, 2026, 08:45 ET The newly formed company has been selected to serve as project manager for V.C. Summer nuclear project COLUMBIA, S.C., and NEW YORK, May 4, 2026 /CNW/ - Brookfield, a leading global investment firm, and The Nuclear Company ("TNC"), a nuclear project development and delivery company, today announced a partnership to form a new company specializing in the development of Westinghouse nuclear reactor technology. The partnership's ambition is to establish a world-leading nuclear project execution company. Brookfield's global asset management and energy infrastructure development capabilities combined with TNC's nuclear project delivery expertise will serve as the foundation for the dedicated project development company. The business will offer execution capabilities for the deployment of nuclear projects based exclusively on Westinghouse reactor technology, including AP1000 and AP300, in addition to end-to-end project management, licensing support, and oversight of engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning activity. The parties expect to progress toward definitive documentation in the coming months, subject to customary approvals and conditions. As part of efforts to potentially develop two partially constructed AP1000 units near Jenkinsville, S.C., Brookfield has selected the new company as the project manager for the Fairfield County, S.C., nuclear project, formally known as V.C. Summer Nuclear Units 2 and 3 ("the Project"). The project is one of the most execution-ready nuclear development opportunities in America. Santee Cooper, South Carolina's state-owned utility company, supports the company's role on the project. The new company will support due diligence activity for the Project and oversee the delivery should it move forward to Final Investment Decision. Development of the project remains subject to further evaluation, regulatory approvals, and the execution of definitive agreements. "This joint venture reflects Brookfield's disciplined approach to large-scale infrastructure investment and focus on partnering with experienced operators," said Wyatt Hartley, Managing Partner, Brookfield. "By combining our global infrastructure development capabilities with nuclear project delivery expertise, we believe this platform has the potential to accelerate the American nuclear resurgence, building on the momentum of the Westinghouse partnership with the U.S. Government." "Our team was built on the field of Vogtle and on some of the most complex energy projects in the world," Joe Klecha, Chief Nuclear Officer of The Nuclear Company said. "We know what it takes to deliver nuclear. What's been missing is a model that brings together the people, the capabilities, and the capital to do it at speed and scale. That's what this partnership creates." About Brookfield Brookfield is a leading global investment firm with more than $1 trillion in assets under management that owns and operates real assets and essential service businesses that form the backbone of the global economy.
