Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in Data Engineering engineering with 5+ years of experience in managing data engineering teams.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent degree/work experience.
  • Technical expertise in data architecture, data modeling, ETL/ELT, SQL, NoSQL, and cloud-based data technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Experience designing and implementing scalable data solutions.
  • Experience with agile development methodologies and tools (e.g., Scrum, Kanban)
  • Knowledge of data governance, compliance, and security best practices.
Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership to the data engineering team, creating a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence.
  • Design and implement scalable, efficient, and data architecture and solutions to support our data needs, including data ingestion, storage, processing, and analytics.
  • Oversee the development and optimization of data pipelines, ensuring accurate data delivery to support business intelligence and analytics requirements.
  • Establish and enforce data quality standards, governance policies, and best practices to ensure the integrity, accuracy, and security of our data assets.
  • Partner and collaborate with management, partners, analysts, developers, architects, and engineers to support data quality efforts.
  • Vendor Management: Manage relationships with third-party vendors and service providers, including cloud providers, data integration platforms, and tool vendors
  • Ensure compliance with relevant data privacy regulations and industry standards, and implement security measures to protect sensitive data assets.
  • Set up team performance goals and deliver performance reviews for your team members.
  • Influence quality and productivity improvements through involvement in the development of new and improved procedures, process innovations, training, and changes in corporate culture.
