- Lead and drive creative research and development projects on epitaxial growth and thin film materials characterization
- Design and execute experiments
- Analyze results and disseminate information effectively through discussion, reports and presentations
- Take both a hands-on approach to lab work as well as a supervisory role in team efforts
- Familiarity with more specialized materials characterization techniques such as STEM (AC & HAADF) and APT
- Experience with electrical transport characterization
- History of demonstrated technical innovation
- Training in the safe handling of laboratory chemicals
- Knowledge of safe handling of chemicals and processing equipment in modern semiconductor labs
