Requirements
  • A minimum of 2 years prior office experience
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • NY P&C License preferred
  • Familiar with Epic software a plus
Responsibilities
  • Responsibilities include issuance of certificates of Insurance, ID cards, schedule of insurance.
  • Assist in handling applications, endorsements, billing, updating policies and client contact follow up.
  • Prepare proposals, policy summaries and reviews
  • Process placement requests and invoicing
  • Liaise with Accounting department on research and justification of premium charges as compared with endorsements and invoices
  • Handle or refer insured’s and underwriter’s questions
  • Perform other specific duties as directed by the Account Executive
  • Respond to service inquiries
  • Process add/term requests
  • Provide assistance in managing renewal process
  • Follow up with carriers to obtain outstanding information
  • Update internal reporting systems and internal databases (as necessary)
