We are seeking an Assistant Account Executive for our Long-Term Care division.
Functions & Responsibilities will include:
- Responsibilities include issuance of certificates of Insurance, ID cards, schedule of insurance.
- Assist in handling applications, endorsements, billing, updating policies and client contact follow up.
- Prepare proposals, policy summaries and reviews
- Process placement requests and invoicing
- Liaise with Accounting department on research and justification of premium charges as compared with endorsements and invoices
- Handle or refer insured’s and underwriter’s questions
- Perform other specific duties as directed by the Account Executive
- Respond to service inquiries
- Process add/term requests
- Provide assistance in managing renewal process
- Follow up with carriers to obtain outstanding information
- Update internal reporting systems and internal databases (as necessary)works with Individual and small group insurance
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 2 years prior office experience
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- NY P&C License preferred
- Familiar with Epic software a plus
