- Familiarity with programming languages and tools for data analysis (e.g., Python, Matlab, R, SQL)
- Familiarity with financial markets and regulation is helpful
Responsibilities
- Generate ideas, investigate data, and test hypotheses in the process of scientific inquiry
- Conduct exploratory research to uncover new insights on trading dynamics
- Analyze and study market-wide trends in execution quality
- Collaborate across the organization to design and develop new products and tools
- Communicate research insights externally, e.g. via customer meetings, white papers, and presentations
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working with large data sets + time series data is a plus
