  • Able to travel as required
  • Must be able to obtain and hold a U.S. Top Secret clearance
  • 7+ years or more of Avionics, Communication/ Navigation Technician experience
  • Qualification and Certification credentials, or equivalencies as a FAA APPROVED FORM 8610-2/ FAA Repairmen Certificate, Air Force 7 level in AFSC or Navy or Marine Corps Avionics CDI / QAR
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • Proficient with computer use (standard browser, word processing applications)
  • Willing to be multi-capable. Which shall include some electronics troubleshooting and repair
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to rapidly change roles/responsibilities while working in a fast-paced, challenging work environment
  • Experience with Tool Control, FOD, HAZMAT, Training, Quality, and Security programs
  • Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain aircraft and subsystems including avionics & mission systems and other subsystems wiring
  • Assemble components, such as electrical controls, junction boxes, and install software
  • Complete aircraft and equipment documentation
  • Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain site support equipment
  • Communicate system performance and assessment with engineering and production
  • Perform validation and testing of various electronic components using equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, network analyzers, and test racks
  • Assist with many aspects of autonomous drone system software
  • Possess the ability to navigate Linux software environments, execute coding commands, and manage software configuration updates in collaboration with software engineering teams
  • Build, integrate and test avionics and mission systems
  • Prioritize maintenance tasks in accordance with departmental needs
  • Provide on-the-job training and mentorship to junior service technicians and mechanics
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize maintenance procedures and workflows
