  • A preferred Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Business Administration, or a relevant field.
  • Three to five years of experience in resort or retail management or a similar role in the hospitality industry.
  • A proven track record of successfully managing a team.
  • Strong understanding of financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and profit-and-loss accountability.
  • Familiarity with industry-standard software and reservation systems.
  • Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage staff effectively.
  • Excellent customer service skills and the ability to resolve issues promptly.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations specific to the hospitality industry.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily resort operations to ensure smooth functioning and high levels of guest satisfaction.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve financial goals, increase occupancy rates, and enhance profitability.
  • Monitor the resort's budget, manage expenses, perform daily reconciliations and cash management, and implement cost-saving measures where appropriate.
  • Recruit, train, and supervise resort staff, ensuring that all team members provide exceptional service to guests.
  • Coordinate with the human resources department to manage staff schedules, payroll, and compliance with employment laws and regulations.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness, maintenance, and safety throughout the property.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers for resort amenities and services.
  • Address and resolve guest complaints and issues promptly to maintain a positive reputation and guest relations.
  • Enforce resort policies and procedures consistently among staff and guests.
  • Analyze guest feedback and online reviews to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance the guest experience.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards and best practices.
  • Plan and oversee resort events and activities.
