Responsibilities
  • Acquire new merchant services relationships through referrals from KeyBank banking centers and through prospecting external sources within the sales representative's assigned territory including outbound calling/communicating; will actively participate in specialized campaigns, working lead lists and referrals from Retail branch, Business Banking, Private Banking and Treasury
  • Present and sell merchant payment processing, including but not limited to credit card, check processing, gift cards, ACH and the corresponding hardware and software products to small and medium size businesses
  • Consults with prospective businesses in identifying the proper payment solution to meet the business needs
  • Identifies other banking needs and works with available KeyBank resources and partners to deliver solutions that meet those needs
  • Prospects small and medium size businesses in sale representative's assigned region to supplement bank referrals
  • Performs other duties as assigned; duties, responsibilities and/or activities may change or new ones may be assigned at any time with or without notice
  • Complies with all KeyBank policies and procedures, including without limitation, acting professionally at all times, conducting business ethically, avoiding conflicts of interest, and acting in the best interests of Key’s clients and Key.
