Payscale wins Gainsight's Customer Success Transformation of the Year award.

Payscale wins Gainsight's Customer Success Transformation of the Year award. By GlobeNewswire May 19, 2026 Recognition validates how Payscale turned a long-standing strength into a scalable operating model BOSTON, May 19, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) - Payscale, the leading provider of compensation intelligence solutions, today announced it was named the winner of Gainsight's 2026 GameChanger Award for Customer Success Transformation of the Year. The award recognizes organizations that have fundamentally reimagined how they deliver customer success. Customer experience has always been a Payscale differentiator. In 2025, the organization decided to make it a system. Rather than treating customer success as a single team's responsibility, Payscale rebuilt how every customer-facing function - customer success, account management, renewals, support, services, implementation, and customer education - works together to drive measurable outcomes. The result was improved retention and sustained revenue growth, proving that when organizations align around customer outcomes, everyone benefits. "This award reflects our belief that software isn't enough on its own," said Payscale VP of Customer Success and Renewals Michael Maday. "To be a true partner to our customers and help them be strategic about compensation, we must be responsive, invested, and committed to customer outcomes from day one." The transformation spanned the entire customer lifecycle. Payscale clarified role ownership, standardized executive business reviews with a verified outcomes framework and ROI calculator, and built a scalable engagement model with structured onboarding, in-app guidance, and targeted CSM involvement. Beyond direct interactions, Payscale launched a centralized knowledge ecosystem for peer learning and self-service adoption and established a Customer Advisory Board to deepen strategic partnerships. The results were measurable. Through a year of operational change, Payscale improved retention and revenue - a signal that the model is working for customers and the business. "Teams often have to choose between major transformation or sustained performance. Our customer org did both, rebuilding how we operate from the ground up while growing GRR year over year," Payscale VP of Customer Strategy Lindsey Oh said. "Every team member stayed tenacious through real change and pressure. The results speak for themselves." To become a true compensation partner, Payscale combines world-class customer service, proven solutions, comprehensive data, and continuous innovation to help businesses cut through complexity and leverage pay as a competitive advantage. Payscale has demonstrated that aligning every function around customer outcomes and designing systems that reinforce both operational excellence and business growth leads to success. "Implementing any new system comes with challenges, but the collaboration with Payscale's technical and support teams made all the difference. Throughout the process, we encountered hiccups, but Payscale worked with us every step of the way to find solutions and keep us moving forward. The approach isn't just about providing a tool - it's about being a true partner in our success," the director of compensation at an enterprise biopharmaceutical company said. "The support model, responsiveness, and willingness to adapt have made our experience both enjoyable and productive. At the end of the day, having clean data and an open mind is important, but having a partner like Payscale is what truly made this implementation successful. The ability to pivot, problem-solve, and continuously improve ensures we're always evolving and optimizing. That level of commitment to customer success is what sets Payscale apart." Payscale launches Smart Reporting: AI tool turns compensation teams into strategic advisors

Payscale, a compensation intelligence provider, has launched Smart Reporting, an AI-powered tool that enables compensation teams to generate customised reports using natural language queries. The system analyses pay, equity, performance and market data in seconds rather than days. According to Payscale's 2026 Compensation Best Practices Report, 68% of organisations view compensation as a strategic business driver, yet most teams remain occupied with manual report-building. Smart Reporting aims to shift compensation professionals from administrative work to strategic planning. The tool is built on decades of compensation data and methodology, distinguishing it from generic AI solutions. It follows recent Payscale AI releases including Smart Price for job pricing, Payge for instant platform assistance, and Compass for strategic decision-making. These innovations build on Payscale Intelligence Cloud, launched earlier to provide organisation-wide compensation intelligence.

Payscale Launches Global Dataset for EU Pay Transparency

Payscale launches global dataset for EU Pay Transparency. Pulse+ strengthens foundation for global pay strategies grounded in country-specific real market dynamics February 11, 2026 Payscale, the leading provider of compensation intelligence solutions, today announced the addition of Pulse+, a new data offering that combines Payscale's employer-sourced data, Peer, with validated external market insights to deliver fresh, consistent, and trusted international compensation intelligence across key markets. As the deadline to comply with the European Union Pay Transparency Directive (EUPTD) nears, global organizations operating in the EU are preparing to meet its transparency and reporting requirements. Key mandates include salary range disclosure for job seekers, the right for employees to request pay data, and mandatory gender pay gap reporting for companies with more than 100 employees. More transparent compensation strategies require accurate, relevant data, enabling employers to defend their pay decisions. Pulse+ aims to meet this need. Payscale's proprietary Peer dataset is the foundation for the Pulse+ data offering. Peer is the largest and most accurate HRIS-based dataset in the market, with more than 3,600 participating organizations and 9 million incumbents across 55 countries. Similar to traditional compensation surveys, the employer-sourced data is standardized and consistently refreshed. The Pulse+ datasets augment and validate this data with additional localized market insights. "Too many organizations are making high-stakes pay decisions using tools that weren't built for global complexity," said Payscale's Chief Product Officer Peh Teh. "In hundreds of conversations with HR and compensation leaders, one reality kept surfacing: current data falls short of what global pay decisions actually require. Pulse+ was built to replace patchwork data with clarity - so organizations can make strategic compensation decisions with confidence." Payscale is rapidly expanding Pulse+ to meet the needs of multinational organizations - especially those preparing for the pending EUPTD. Pulse+ offers bespoke datasets per country, tailored to the unique market dynamics, regulations, and pay patterns of the specific region. Designed to support global job structure design, range alignment, and policy decisions, Pulse+ also harmonizes the data across countries so global compensation teams can compare pay insights across regions more consistently. The UK dataset is available now, with datasets for Mexico, Germany, and Australia expected to launch in Q2. Additional countries will be added later this year. Pulse+ is available in both Payscale's enterprise-level compensation management solution, Marketpay, and scalable compensation management solution, Payfactors. Payscale Redefines Compensation Intelligence with Innovative AI Solutions that Transform Job Pricing and Prove ROI

Payscale redefines compensation intelligence with innovative AI solutions that transform job pricing and prove ROI. Two new solutions empower organizations to price jobs faster, make data-driven pay decisions with confidence, and demonstrate the measurable value of compensation investments BOSTON, Nov. 13, 2025 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) - Payscale, the leading provider of compensation intelligence solutions, today announced two new solutions available within its foundational benchmarking solution, Payfactors. Smart Price is a smarter, faster, and more reliable way to price jobs using trusted, agentic AI. Payscale Compass helps executives link compensation strategy to business outcomes. Smart Price - a smarter way to price jobs with trusted agentic AI Payscale's Compensation Best Practices Report showed that along with increasing pay transparency, improved confidence in market pricing was one of the most important compensation activities planned for 2025. It is believed to be essential to attracting and retaining talent. Smart Price is a smarter way to price jobs using intuitive workflows and actionable insights. Powered by Payscale Verse, a proprietary dataset combining verified HR-reported compensation data with machine-learning models, Smart Price delivers transparent, defensible recommendations for every role. "Smart Price isn't about replacing expertise. It's about amplifying it," Payscale Chief Product Officer Peh Teh said. "Whether you're a tenured compensation professional or an HR leader juggling performance, development, and compensation, Smart Price helps you spend less time pricing so you can spend more time emphasizing the value of compensation." More than automation, Smart Price's agentic AI walks users through four simple steps: * Defining jobs and pay markets * Benchmarking AI job matches that can be reviewed and adjusted * Aligning and viewing the impact on employees * Publishing and reviewing final changes before pricing goes live Payscale Compass - an innovative approach to prove the impact of pay The most recent Sapient Insights Group Annual HR Systems Survey shows that 52% of HR professionals say they're viewed as strategic collaborators. While this is higher than previous years, HR leaders continue to strive to improve their influence on business strategy. Payscale's Compass is a first-of-its-kind executive intelligence solution that translates compensation data into business insights. It enables HR and finance leaders to evaluate the effectiveness of their pay strategy, compare performance to peers, and understand how compensation decisions influence organizational outcomes. Bringing together all of a customer's existing data stored in Payscale, Compass displays a scorecard that allows executives and compensation professionals to quickly diagnose the health of their workforce investments and identify where to make adjustments to remain competitive. This is represented in four directional indicators comparing how a user's organization is performing compared to similar organizations, including investment, competitiveness, health, and architecture. * Investment: Evaluates how much is being spent on pay to align compensation budget to market * Competitiveness: Compares what employees earn to peers at similar organizations to reveal how attractive your pay is in today's job market * Health: Looks at how a workforce is growing, retaining talent, and evolving to support long-term business goals * Architecture: Assesses how employees are placed within pay ranges to reveal risks, gaps, and misalignment in structure and levels Compass translates compensation strategy into the language of executive leaders to show why compensation strategy matters and connects compensation to business outcomes. This unique offering to Payscale shifts the conversation from pricing jobs to prove the impact of pay on business performance to emphasizing the strategic value of compensation. "Both Smart Price and Compass are steps in Payscale's journey to make compensation intelligence accessible to everyone, not just compensation pros and to communicate the outcomes of compensation in a language leadership understands," Teh said. "These innovations lay the groundwork for what's next - using AI to deliver pricing intelligence at scale, automatically surfacing high-quality job matches across entire catalogs to make pay decisions faster, fairer, and more consistent."
