Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Experience in IT infrastructure design, implementation, and management
  • Strong knowledge of network protocols, cybersecurity practices, and cloud computing platforms
  • Experience with DoD IT compliance and security requirements is highly desirable
  • Proficiency in scripting and automation tools (e.g., Python, PowerShell)
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to convey technical information to non-technical team members
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance
Responsibilities
  • Design, deploy, and manage IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and storage systems, to support the development and operation of autonomous surface vessels
  • Implement and maintain cybersecurity measures to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance with DoD standards
  • Develop and manage cloud-based solutions for data storage, processing, and analysis
  • Collaborate with software and hardware engineering teams to ensure seamless integration of IT systems with autonomous vessel technologies
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability and reliability of IT services
  • Provide technical support and training to team members on IT systems and best practices
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to continually improve our IT capabilities
