Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in a related field and four years of relevant experience, including two years at the Assistant Engineer II level; or a master's degree from an accredited college or university in a related field and two years of relevant experience at the Assistant Engineer II level.
  • Relevant experience must combine designing cathodic protection systems for pipelines, treatment facilities, or other critical infrastructure with corrosion control testing and pipeline condition assessment.
  • A valid California Class C driver's license or equivalent that allows driving during employment is required at the time of application.
  • Applicants must have work authorization that does not now or in the future require visa sponsorship for employment authorization in the United States.
Responsibilities
  • Develop, design, and implement cathodic protection measures.
  • Collaborate with design engineers, operations personnel, and external agencies to ensure project execution and asset management.
  • Perform on-site assessments of pipelines, water treatment facilities, and related water infrastructure to support asset management programs.
  • Use an enterprise geographical information system to gather, manage, and analyze assessment data.
