Requirements
  • Availability to work most of the week, Monday through Friday, during the 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. program schedule.
  • A genuine love for working with children.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • A willingness to pursue leadership opportunities.
  • Hold or be willing to obtain a national police check and a Victorian working-with-children check.
  • Complete National Child Safety Training before onboarding via Gecko.
  • Hold or be working toward a relevant certificate-level qualification to work as a Certificate-level Educator in Victoria in accordance with ACECQA requirements.
  • Have valid Australian work rights.
Responsibilities
  • Work primarily at the Belgrave Service and build ongoing relationships with families, children, the team, and the wider school community.
  • Run fun and exciting activities for children during school holidays.
  • Deliver sports activities and animal-themed programs, and participate in incursions and excursions such as the Melbourne show.
