Requirements
  • Some college training or related administrative experience is preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills are required.
  • The ability to stay well organized is required.
  • The ability to prioritize tasks is required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat, is required.
Responsibilities
  • Serve as a liaison between students and the Department of Clinical Education.
  • Serve as the initial and primary point of contact for students.
  • Communicate with students and clinical sites regarding student schedules and student performance evaluations.
  • Communicate with individual preceptors to coordinate rotation opportunities.
  • Follow up regularly with students regarding missing student performance evaluations.
  • Respond to a high volume of emails in a timely manner.
  • Communicate matters reported by students or clinical rotation sites and hospitals to the Director of Clinical Education and Clinical Dean.
  • Verify and complete onboarding paperwork for clinical rotations across various platforms and applications.
  • Establish and maintain student tracking software, New Innovations, for student schedules.
  • Participate in the annual department review of forms and manuals.
  • Review and edit forms and documentation.
  • Conduct and attend meetings with students regarding rotations, academics, and residency advisement.
  • Create detailed spreadsheets tracking student information, clinical site details, and residency information.
  • Submit course registration and complete course add/drop forms in collaboration with the Registrar.
  • Communicate schedule changes to the Grade Coordinator.
  • Communicate online remote elective requests for registration to the Assessment Coordinator.
  • Monitor and follow up with students regarding health packet requirements in collaboration with the Health Assessment Coordinator.
  • Work within the team environment.
  • Perform other assigned duties and responsibilities.
