Trialbee appoints Michael Meerovich as Chief Financial Officer to accelerate global growth strategy. Seasoned finance executive brings two decades of experience scaling software and healthcare technology businesses to support Trialbee's next phase of high-growth, AI-driven innovation. Trialbee, the global leader in technology-driven patient recruitment, has appointed Michael Meerovich as Chief Financial Officer. Based in New York, Meerovich will play a central role in shaping the company's financial strategy, supporting value creation initiatives, and building the financial foundation required to support Trialbee's expanding global footprint. With AI and new technologies reshaping patient recruitment, Trialbee continues to innovate with its Honey Platform(TM), scale its team, and expand global delivery capabilities to meet rising demand from top biopharma sponsors running many of the industry's largest clinical programs. The opportunities ahead have never been greater - and Meerovich's leadership will be instrumental in helping Trialbee capture additional market opportunities following a strategic investment from Varsity Healthcare Partners and five consecutive years of significant growth. "I'm always drawn to companies focused on making a positive impact on society, and this industry doesn't get the attention it deserves," said Meerovich. "Patient recruitment is an incredibly fragmented, complex, and manual part of the drug development process that often drives significant delays and cost overruns in clinical trials. Trialbee possesses both the technology and the world-class team to help solve that massive problem. This company offers a unique opportunity to make a real impact on millions of patients' lives, and I'm excited to support that mission." "Michael is the strategic, forward-looking CFO Trialbee needs for our next phase of growth," said Matt Walz, CEO of Trialbee. "Our pace of innovation is multiplying while our customers, partnerships and offerings are expanding quickly, evidenced by the new AI capabilities we've been releasing with our Honey Platform(TM). It is important we maintain our focus on our sponsors, CROs, sites, partners, and the patients we ultimately serve while growing the underlying business. Michael's strategic counsel and financial expertise will bring a step change in how we scale as a business while executing our strategic priorities and managing our growth. He's going to be an exceptional partner to the team and a great cultural fit." Meerovich joins Trialbee from Mobile Health, a digital health and wellness platform, where he served as Chief Financial Officer. He brings 20 years of experience building and scaling finance organizations across software and technology-enabled businesses, most recently at the intersection of healthcare and technology. Meerovich previously held senior financial leadership roles at Sword Health and Collibra, where he helped drive rapid growth while scaling finance and operations. Meerovich holds an MBA in Finance and Strategy from New York University's Stern School of Business and a B.S. in Finance from Penn State University. Databricks has named Collibra its Governance Partner of the Year as the companies expand their strategic partnership. The collaboration introduces new integrations bringing enterprise governance and AI lifecycle visibility into the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform. A bi-directional integration with Unity Catalog synchronises governed metadata and policies from Collibra into Databricks, whilst technical metadata and lineage flow back to Collibra. This enables users to access critical information like data sensitivity and ownership without switching platforms. The partnership integrates with Databricks' Genie and Agent Bricks, feeding into Collibra's AI Command Center for enterprise-wide AI agent governance. Collibra's MCP Server, already live in the Databricks Marketplace, delivers governed metadata to AI agents in real time. Additional integrations with Databricks Lakebase and Deasy Labs will transform unstructured data into AI-ready volumes.
Collibra has expanded its integration with Snowflake to deliver governed business context and semantic consistency across the Snowflake AI Data Cloud. The partnership, announced at Snowflake Summit 26, aims to help enterprises scale agentic AI with production-grade governance. The new bi-directional integration enables Collibra's governed metadata, descriptions and policies to flow directly into Snowflake Horizon Catalog, Cortex Analyst and Cortex Agents, whilst Snowflake's technical metadata flows back into Collibra. Semantic models aligned with the Open Semantic Interchange standard can be published into Snowflake to power more accurate AI experiences. Building on Collibra's recently launched AI Command Center, the integration provides real-time visibility across the AI lifecycle with end-to-end traceability. The integrations are available in preview to select customers, with broader availability planned for Q3 2026.
Collibra has launched the AI Command Center, a solution providing real-time automated control over agentic AI systems, alongside a strategic partnership with Giskard. The platform addresses what Collibra calls the "hallucination tax" — the hidden costs of manual oversight and risk as enterprises deploy AI agents faster than they can monitor them. The AI Command Center offers unified visibility across the AI lifecycle, enabling organisations to monitor deployments, trace decisions and intervene before issues escalate. Over 40 enterprises participated in the private preview. The Giskard partnership connects execution-level testing directly to the control plane, whilst new assessment templates align with AI UC-1 compliance standards. Collibra's MCP Server delivers governed metadata to agents in real-time, with over 100 customers already using the technology.
