  • 7+ years’ experience in manufacturing systems, digital operations, or enterprise tools administration (ERP/PLM/MES)

Responsibilities
  • Lead configuration, deployment, and integration of NetSuite ERP, PLM, and MES.
  • Define and manage data flows and interfaces between ERP, PLM, MES, and test environments.
  • Serve as internal point of contact with implementation partners.
  • Ensure data consistency across platforms (BOMs, inventory, work orders, as-built records).
  • Support the definition and deployment of local systems at assembly and test stations (e.g., barcode scanners, tablets, HMI, operator guidance interfaces).
  • Standardize mechanical and test station setups.
  • Define requirements and processes for hardware/software interfaces that support assembly and testing workflows.
  • Collaborate with production and engineering teams to translate manual or ad hoc processes into structured digital workflows.
  • Document processes, support user onboarding, and generate user guides and SOPs.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline manufacturing execution through better data capture and tool usability.
  • Provide first-line support to internal users post-deployment.
  • Track and manage ongoing improvements, upgrades, and change requests.
  • Support onboarding of new employees and provide training on key digital tools.

Loft launches dedicated AI for Space business unit to develop on-orbit AI infrastructure. Today, Loft announced the formation of a new AI for Space business unit within the company to focus on building scalable, reliable AI-enabled space infrastructure to support agentic and AI-at-the-edge applications. This investment reflects Loft's long-term commitment to enabling governments and commercial partners to access and deploy algorithms directly on orbit, transforming how insights are generated from space. The AI for Space group will focus on building a network of AI partners to support a marketplace of applications. This also includes a focus on developing and scaling the hardware and operational capabilities required to support real-time AI applications in space. By expanding its infrastructure beyond traditional satellite missions to include AI-enabled systems, Loft is laying the foundation for a new class of space applications across government and commercial sectors. To lead this effort, Loft has appointed Paul Lasserre as General Manager, AI for Space. Paul brings deep experience across artificial intelligence, enterprise technology, and operational leadership, most recently leading Data and Generative AI Partnerships at Amazon Web Services. In his role at Loft, Paul will oversee the development and commercialization of AI-enabled space solutions, working closely with global partners across industry, government, and the AI ecosystem. Loft today announced a notification by the French Space Agency (CNES) and the Directorate General of Armaments / DGA of a contract for the development and operation of the DESIR program (Sovereign Radar Imaging Elements Demonstration). The program aims to provide France with its first sovereign space-based radar imaging (SAR) capability and represents a major milestone in the development of a national radar imaging value chain, a critical technology for the armed forces and for France's strategic autonomy. With DESIR, Loft Orbital proves that its standardized infrastructure model offers an immediate response to the most critical sovereign needs. This contract is aligned with DGA and French Space Command initiatives to foster a more agile defense space ecosystem, notably through the Pacte Espace and the Cercle de Confiance Espace, and confirms Loft's position as a strategic partner serving national sovereign capabilities. "This is exactly the type of program where speed, execution, discipline, and operational maturity matter," said Loft's European GM Emmanuelle Meric. "This is a perfect example of how you can combine the new 'space-agile' way of working, with the more traditional way of working." - Loft Europe General Manager Emmanuelle Meric. A mature industrial model serving the defense industrial and technological base. The DESIR program architecture relies on Loft's end-to-end mission services and rapid integration capabilities. The demonstration will fly on Loft's Longbow satellite platform, derived from the OneWeb constellation, which has more than 600 satellites already deployed in orbit. This simple, and reliable space infrastructure model developed by Loft guarantees program feasibility, cost control and schedule reliability, allowing the rapid deployment of sovereign-owned space capabilities to support government autonomy across Europe. The program targets initial operational service by early 2029, with an in-orbit operational phase of at least two years, illustrating the relevance of a New Space - inspired approach to meeting sovereign defense capability requirements. Loft Orbital raises $140M for expansion

Loft Orbital, a space infrastructure start-up, raised $140 million in a funding round led by BlackRock. The San Francisco-based company plans to use the capital to scale its business and double its team from 70 to 160 by the end of 2022. Loft Orbital has launched two spacecraft, called YAMs, and serves over 20 customers, including NASA and the U.S. Space Force. The company accelerates satellite deployment by maintaining an inventory of spacecraft ready for customer payloads.
