- CLEET Security Certification or completed Phase 1 and Phase 2 to become certified
- Perform patrols of the facility and grounds to identify safety and security problems and act as a deterrent to theft and vandalism
- Respond to disasters, fire, and emergencies. Provides care and first aid
- Communicate and interface with university police or other emergency service providers in emergencies and for routine support
- Make building security inspections, checking doors and windows
- Perform various duties as needed to successfully fulfill the function of the position

As an unarmed, non-commissioned public servant, you will perform security assignments, enforce university policy, and other tasks that, ultimately, safeguard our students, faculty, and staff.
