About the role:
Reporting to the Director of Program Management, this individual will help shape quarterly, integrated planning and support our largest cross-functional Marketing programs. The role requires a highly resourceful individual who manages through complexity easily, demonstrates strong communication skills, and has the ability to lead and influence people cross-functionally across the Marketing organization.
The Senior Program Manager, Integrated Planning will partner with stakeholders to deliver cross functional, multidiscipline, multichannel go-to-market, programs and campaigns that are clearly aligned to business strategy, and leadership priorities across several products and program launches across multiple languages and locales.

In this role, you will:
- Align on Corporate strategy, fiscal year goals, and Marketing priorities to support our largest marketing programs and integrated campaigns.
- Lead and manage cross-functional integrated marketing initiatives and projects.
- Be a connection point with Marketing Leadership, Product Marketing, Communications, Content, Brand and Creative, Growth/Campaigns, Events and regional marketing teams to deliver marketing experiences and integrated campaigns across all of our channels.
- Guide programs and initiatives from kickoff through planning, creation and delivery.
- Build out project timelines, outline deliverables, resource plans, and success metrics (with stakeholders); ensure projects adhere to objectives, establish reporting cadences to deliver updates, schedule project meetings and set agendas, and send out meeting recaps.
- Juggle a mix of large and small workstreams/projects, often with overlapping importance and urgency.
- Have experience working in a variety of tools such as Google suite, Asana, and Allocadia. Budget management tools are a plus.
- Monitor project progress, handle issues and escalations that arise, document and follow up on critical actions, decisions, issues, and risks.
- Champion, role model, and embed Samsara’s cultural principles (Focus on Customer Success, Build for the Long Term, Adopt a Growth Mindset, Be Inclusive, Win as a Team) as we scale globally and across new offices.
Minimum requirements for the role:
- 6+ years of relevant work experience including successfully leading and overseeing cross-functional and integrated marketing programs.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of key functions across Marketing (e.g. product marketing, brand marketing, campaigns, integrated marketing, PR/communications, social media, creative services, analytics, etc).
- Ability to manage and oversee a significant number of resources across multiple teams and stakeholders with strong problem solving skills.
- Strong business acumen; ability to understand and communicate business impacts and key decisions that impact process and timelines.
- Vendor management experience and processing SOW’s and POs required.
- Experience with annual, and quarterly planning for marketing programs.
- Experience managing projects across languages and locales.
- Bachelor’s degrees in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field.
An ideal candidate also has:
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, a plus.

We value in-person collaboration and know a change of scenery and quiet space to work is welcomed from time to time, but also appreciate that the world of work has changed.
