Who we’re looking for 

ZORA is looking for a Senior Protocol Engineer to join our team. The Senior Protocol Engineer will be responsible for building, scaling and improving our blockchain-based infrastructure. This role requires a deep understanding of blockchain technology and experience in building decentralized applications. The ideal candidate will be a problem solver with a passion for delivering innovative solutions.

What you’ll do

• Design and implement blockchain-based protocols and systems
• Optimize the performance and scalability of our blockchain infrastructure
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the seamless integration of blockchain technology into our products
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in the blockchain space
• Develop and maintain technical documentation for the blockchain infrastructure

Skills we’re looking for

• Strong experience in building decentralized applications using blockchain technology
• Excellent knowledge of blockchain consensus algorithms and security protocols
• Proficiency in at least one blockchain programming language such as Solidity, JavaScript, Go, or Python
• Experience with cloud infrastructure and deployment technologies such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and collaboration skills

We’d love it if you had

• Experience with Ethereum and other blockchain platforms
• Experience with smart contract development and testing
• Understanding of decentralized identity, privacy and data management
• Familiarity with cryptography and security best practices for blockchain systems.
