  • Write documentation to manage and guide technicians.
  • Contribute to shaping the robotics product from the ground up.

Reflex Robotics builds affordable, general-purpose robots designed to handle repetitive tasks in manufacturing, logistics, and service industries. The robots are designed and built in-house to emphasize reliability and cost-effectiveness. They work by combining autonomous capabilities with remote human oversight: operators monitor and intervene from a distance, allowing the robots to tackle more complex tasks that fully autonomous systems might struggle with. The company charges a one-time hardware cost plus a monthly fee that is lower than typical labor costs, aiming for roughly a one-year return on investment. Compared with competitors, Reflex Robotics emphasizes a hybrid approach—automation with human oversight—and in-house design to keep costs down and reliability high. Its goal is to reduce customers’ labor costs and increase operational efficiency by automating mundane tasks while preserving human control when needed.

Simplify Jobs

Simplify's Take

What believers are saying

  • GXO expanded the September 2024 partnership into live-operation pilot work.
  • July 2025 SF office opening and six open roles signal hiring acceleration.
  • A 2025 job post cited $60M annual revenue pending successful e-commerce pilots.

What critics are saying

  • TechCrunch said March 2024 Reflex had only five employees; scaling remains fragile.
  • GXO called its 2024 deployment a proof-of-concept, not a contracted rollout.
  • If 2025 pilots miss economics, Reflex loses warehouse credibility and Series A leverage.

What makes Reflex Robotics unique

  • Reflex sells wheeled humanoids with teleoperation, unlike fully autonomous competitors.
  • September 2024 GXO pilot validates warehouse tasks in live operations.
  • In-house hardware and 60-minute task setup targets fast deployment across sites.
