Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration or related field
  • 8-10 years’ experience in hospice and/or home health business development
  • 8-10 years’ experience in business development leadership roles
  • Proven success in the development and execution of strategic marketing plans
  • Ability to lead and inspire others
  • Excellent presentation and public speaking and sales skills
  • Ability to be in the field at least 3 days per week
Responsibilities
  • Providing direct oversight and support of Community Liaisons and Business Development Directors across a state or region
  • Leading training and onboarding of marketing liaisons, including ongoing professional development
  • Conducting marketing assessments and developing a comprehensive marketing plan designed to meet budgetary volume projections
  • Developing and maintaining comprehensive working knowledge of organization’s markets including but not limited to key referral sources, competitors, governmental agencies, and major payer groups and applies this knowledge to effective sales planning
  • Staying current with industry and marketplace changes and opportunities for competitive advantage
  • Collaborating and communicating with team and cross-functional partners to fully meet customer needs
  • Knowledge and commitment to the hospice philosophy of care
  • Ensuring compliance with all state and federal legal and regulatory requirements
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned
