What you will do!
The Technical Content Specialist is a dynamic role responsible for crafting clear, user-friendly e-learning content, developing engaging multimedia training materials, and collaborating across teams to effectively communicate complex technical concepts. This position ensures that technical documentation and training resources align with organizational goals and evolving technologies. Key tasks include technical writing, designing interactive e-learning experiences, and creating multimedia content such as graphics, videos, and animations to enhance learning engagement.
Success in this role hinges on collaboration with subject matter experts, IT teams, and organizational leaders to gather insights and maintain up-to-date, high-quality learning materials. The Technical Content Specialist leverages expertise in e-learning platforms and multimedia tools to deliver compelling educational content while fostering strong relationships to support organizational objectives and drive innovation in IT training and communication.

What we are looking for:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Information Systems Specialist 4
(a) Three (3) years of information systems experience in:
(Direct computer technical support and creating technical documentation);
OR
(b) An Associate's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, OR completion of a two (2) year accredited vocational training program in information technology or related field;
AND
one (1) year of information systems experience in:
(Direct computer technical support and creating technical documentation).
Working Conditions
Position may require periodic travel throughout the state. At times, weekend and evening work will be necessary to meet customer demands and department deadlines.
While performing the duties of this job, you will be in an open landscape environment and may be exposed to the sounds and activity of those working around you. These conditions may be in high traffic areas with moderate to loud noises and frequent interruptions. This position requires the ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously, sometimes within short time frames. Position may require periodic travel throughout the state.
At times, weekend and evening work will be necessary to meet customer demands and department deadlines. It may require long hours with night and weekend work and occasional travel. The location of this position is in an office, cubicle and/or an agreed upon remote work environment with significant use of a computer and video conferencing.
