About the role:
As a Flex Loan Specialist, you’ll be the friendly voice guiding and educating our borrowers on their VA benefit. You’ll initiate the first step in the home buying journey and set the stage for a successful partnership.
Don’t have a mortgage background? No sweat - this role is an entry level position within our company where mortgage experience is a plus but not a necessity.
Here’s a quick snapshot of what your days might look like:
Connect with new borrowers (mostly by phone, voicemail, or text) to educate and assist them on the loan process.
Collect and verify borrower information and documentation.
Evaluate borrower credit to determine if they’re pre-approved or if adjustments are needed.
Use our online tools to process borrower information and keep things moving.
Help borrowers prepare for next steps on their journey to homeownership.
Actively contribute to making the team and culture stronger by assisting with other duties as needed.
Flex Loan Specialists have a schedule outside of normal business hours. They have the flexibility to set their own schedule. This is a full-time position; however, those hours can be worked anytime of their choosing; within the following guidelines:
Anytime between 12PM-10PM Monday through Friday and anytime between 8AM-10PM Saturday and Sunday.
Flex Loan Specialists are required to work 2 nights a week until 10PM.
Flex Loan Specialists are required to work at least 32 weekend hours per month.

To sweeten the deal, we’re offering a $500 sign-on bonus, an additional $500 upon passing your SAFE exam, and another $500 when you hit 6 months in the role.
This role does require a NMLS license, but we’ll help you snag that when you join.
