Requirements

A minimum of 10 years of relevant work experience in revenue accounting.
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is preferred.
Experience leading a revenue accounting function in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Strong understanding of ASC 606 and its application in revenue accounting.
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
Proficient in using accounting software and systems.
Exceptional analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage the revenue accounting team to achieve departmental goals.
Ensure accurate and timely revenue recognition in accordance with ASC 606 standards.
Oversee commission accounting processes and ensure they are compliant with internal policies and external regulations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline revenue accounting procedures, including Sales, Legal, FP&A and Rev Ops teams.
Provide leadership and guidance on complex revenue transactions and contract reviews.
Develop and maintain strong internal controls over the revenue accounting process.
Prepare and present comprehensive financial reports related to revenue.
Stay abreast of industry changes in revenue accounting standards and implement necessary updates to company practices.

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Head of Revenue Accounting to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading the revenue accounting team, ensuring compliance with ASC 606, and overseeing commission accounting. With a minimum of 10 years of work experience and a CPA certification, the successful applicant will have a proven track record of managing a revenue accounting function in a fast-paced environment. Salary Range: $155,000 - $181,500 (base pay)
