Requirements
  • CPR and First Aid certification are required.
  • A valid and applicable state driver's license and a clean driving record are required.
  • A CNA credential or caregiver experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
  • Develop and initiate a comprehensive resident-centered Life Enrichment Program, including activity programs and club dining services.
  • Educate families and staff on the benefits of the Club to maximize resident opportunities.
  • Promote participation among residents who would benefit.
  • Provide a clean, safe, and comfortable setting.
  • Contribute to improving community relations, public regard, and awareness of the community.
  • Work with the Activities Director to develop and execute the monthly Club program calendar and Resident Daily Schedule.
  • Maintain resident engagement in meaningful programs specific to residents' interests and abilities.
  • Coordinate attendance at Assisted Living programs and events when appropriate.
  • Organize Club outings with activities staff.
  • Communicate residents' personal needs to the Director of Assisted Living.
  • Report changes in residents' condition, behavior, or normal routine to the Director of Assisted Living.
  • Arrange clinical assistance for residents as needed, including restroom escorts and medication assistance.
  • Maintain activity records according to Senior Resource Group policies.
  • Assist with Club dining services, including coordinating mealtimes, to enhance the resident dining experience.
  • Help the Activities Director purchase and stock Club supplies.
  • Set up and clean up after events and activities.
  • Drive a vehicle to designated locations as needed.
  • Secure passengers' wheelchairs, walkers, and other equipment to restraining devices during trips.
  • Keep trip records and submit reports concerning mileage, repairs, gasoline, supplies, and usage.
  • Maintain a safe driving record.
