Requirements
  • A passion for engaging with software engineers, hearing their needs and acting on observations and feedback
  • A deep experience and understanding of the challenges of building and shipping software inside a mature SaaS organization
  • Extensive experience building software in Go and a commitment to building exceptional quality products for our internal customers
  • Strong knowledge of Kubernetes and experience building Kubernetes operators and controllers
  • Experience in knowledge structuring, sharing, and defining best practices for you and your team
  • Clear communication skills to enable working in highly cross-functional, distributed product teams
Responsibilities
  • Designing large-scale distributed systems and building software solutions in Golang, such as web service APIs, CLI tools, and Kubernetes operators
  • Working with Snyk’s engineering teams to help them make best use of our internal platform tools and services. Capturing feedback and requirements to feed into the team’s planning and backlog
  • Participating in roadmap planning and prioritization
  • Being involved in the day-to-day Agile practices of the team, striving for predictable and repeatable success
  • Mentoring and supporting team members, holding interviews to recruit new talent, and ensuring that we foster an environment of growth, partnership, and belonging, in partnership with your Engineering Manager
