What this job involves:
We’ve got an exciting opportunity for a Retail Operations Manager to join our team at one of Sydney's most progressive dining and lifestyle destinations. This mixed-use precinct is renowned for hosting some incredible events and houses over 40 major retailers across 5 floors.
A snapshot of the role:
- All internal compliance procedures implemented and adhered to NSW Regulatory Compliance and JLL policies/procedures
- Accountable for complying with company WH&S policies and for the implementation of the safety management systems
- Establishing quality standards for the facility aimed at exceeding customer and retailer expectations
- Develop and implement a strategy to minimise customer and retailer disruption during development
- Monitoring onsite fit outs on a daily basis
- Provide a safe workplace for all team members, customers and visitors by regularly reviewing the workplace for hazards
- Coordination, control and compliance of all contracts/service agreements and supervision of onsite contractors
Sound like you? This is what we’re looking for:
- Experience within facilities, property operations management and/or trade certificate (electrical or mechanical)
- Previous experience working within shopping centre retail environment
- Knowledge of local occupational health and safety requirements
- Management of risk and WHS legislation
