Requirements
  • You are an effective project manager, who can oversee and push forward multiple strategies and tactics across the team and organization
  • You are an effective convener and communicator, with both excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • You have experience managing and running advocacy campaign programming
  • You have a penchant for problem solving and critical-thinking
  • You are passionate about making the economy more just and equitable

Responsibilities
  • Manage external teams and relationships with external partners in order to facilitate short and longer term economic issue advocacy programming
  • Project-manage internal and external initiatives including events, paid media, research and digital-communications efforts
  • Be the point of contact for all internal team members regarding collective project details and goals
  • Create robust and intentional campaign plans, including strategies and tactics, that will guide campaign programming
  • Build, sustain, and strengthen relationships with external stakeholders and local coalition partners
  • Represent economic campaigns and the Hub in internal and external meetings
  • Coordinate campaign operating systems in conjunction with the campaign team
  • Assist in coordinating the management of budgets and payments including a high volume of contracts, invoices, and grants
  • Support Campaign Department leadership with other strategic and operational tasks, and all other duties as assigned
Desired Qualifications
  • You have a track record of managing up, and/or managing other staff
  • You have been an organizer on electoral or issue campaigns and/or you have worked in electoral campaigns for at least one cycle
