Requirements
  • Completed vocational training in Germany or abroad, such as an apprenticeship or skilled-worker qualification as an automotive or commercial-vehicle mechatronics technician, mechanic, vehicle technician, automotive electrician, automotive mechanic, or a related technical profession.
  • A German Class B driver's license is desirable.
  • Ability to perform physically demanding work, including standing and walking for up to eight hours per day.
  • Applicants from non-EU countries must have valid work and residence authorization for Germany.
  • Foreign qualifications may require recognition, with assistance available from the employer.
Responsibilities
  • Work on vehicles with gasoline and diesel engines as well as electric and hybrid vehicles across models of all brands and years.
  • Perform diagnostic, maintenance, and repair work and prepare vehicles professionally for roadworthiness and emissions inspections.
  • Carry out compliant service and maintenance work on air-conditioning systems, airbags, safety systems, and, when required, high-voltage systems.
  • Continuously develop technical knowledge, particularly in modern vehicle technologies.
Desired Qualifications
  • Interest in progressing toward an automotive master craftsman qualification, with the possibility of funded further training or direct entry.
