Requirements
  • Minimum 3-4 years of experience in guest services or front office operations.
  • Proven supervisory or team leadership experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, business administration, or a related discipline.
  • Experience in a luxury or upscale hotel environment.
  • Multilingual abilities, particularly Arabic or other regional languages.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, verbal and written.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
  • Ability to remain calm, courteous, and focused on guest needs at all times.
  • Highly responsible, reliable, and detail-oriented.
  • Ability to work cohesively as part of a team and inspire others.
  • Knowledge of hotel service standards, procedures, and best practices.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Experience with additional hotel systems and software platforms.
  • Background in training and development of front office staff.
  • Familiarity with Dubai's hospitality market and local customs.
Responsibilities
  • Lead, supervise, and mentor the front office team while maintaining consistent adherence to service standards and hotel policies.
  • Deliver professional, friendly, and engaging service to all guests and stakeholders, setting the tone for exceptional hospitality.
  • Handle guest concerns and complaints with empathy and efficiency, resolving issues promptly and escalating when necessary.
  • Assign daily tasks and manage workflow to ensure optimal team productivity and guest satisfaction.
  • Coordinate guest arrivals, departures, and special requests with attention to detail and flexibility.
  • Manage front office operations including check-ins, check-outs, and room assignments using the Property Management System.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation while ensuring compliance with all hotel procedures and safety protocols.
  • Attend and actively participate in departmental meetings, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Balance operational needs with colleague well-being, fostering a supportive and collaborative team environment.
  • Assume manager-on-duty responsibilities as assigned, making decisive decisions to maintain service quality.
  • Assist guests with inquiries regarding hotel facilities and services in an informative and helpful manner.
  • Monitor team performance, provide constructive feedback, and support professional development opportunities.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support organizational goals.
