Requirements
  • A Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts degree in Information Technology or a related field of study, plus at least five years of experience in systems support, system administration, system engineering, system security, access management, network security, network communications, computer networking, telecommunications, systems development and management, hardware, software, and/or data, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience planning and designing highly complex systems.
Responsibilities
  • Provide first-level engineering design functions and troubleshoot problems.
  • Provide trouble resolution and serve as the point of technical escalation for complex problems.
  • Lead or plan implementations for access management and network security technologies.
  • Develop testing plans to ensure implementation quality.
  • Lead the investigation and reporting of data security events and incidents.
  • Provide system and network architecture support for information and network security technologies.
  • Provide technical support to business and technology associates for risk assessments and implementation of appropriate information security procedures, standards, and technologies.
  • Maintain security incident response plans.
  • Represent major upgrades and business system replacements in change control.
  • Oversee the enterprise mix of vendor services.
  • Recommend changes and updates to strategy.
  • Serve as a key contact for setting vendor strategy when required.
  • Design and engineer repeatable technical solutions based on business requirements and defined technology standards.
  • Develop support procedures and performance metric reports.
  • Lead Level 1 and Level 2 incident recoveries.
  • Organize the efforts of other analysts as part of incident recovery when required.
  • Lead root-cause analysis efforts.
  • Provide top-tier support for at least four information security knowledge areas, including access control, application security, business continuity and disaster recovery planning, cryptography, information security and risk management, legal and regulatory compliance and investigations, operations security, physical security, security architecture and design, and telecommunications and network security.
Desired Qualifications
  • Hands-on experience with Venafi TLS Protect and certificate lifecycle management platforms.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Active Directory Certificate Services.
  • Hands-on experience with enterprise public-key infrastructure architectures and certificate management.
  • Hands-on experience with public certificate authorities such as DigiCert, Entrust, or Sectigo.
  • Hands-on experience with hardware security modules.
  • Hands-on experience with SSH key management and SSH certificate technologies.
  • Hands-on experience with TLS/SSL protocols and secure communications.
  • Hands-on experience with certificate automation and lifecycle governance.
  • Hands-on experience with enterprise cryptographic operations and key management.
  • Strong understanding of public-key infrastructure concepts and trust models.
  • Strong understanding of X.509 certificates and certificate chaining.
  • Strong understanding of cryptographic algorithms including RSA, ECC, and AES.
  • Strong understanding of TLS/SSL protocols and cipher suites.
  • Strong understanding of SSH protocols, keys, and certificate-based authentication.
  • Strong understanding of certificate revocation mechanisms including CRL and OCSP.
  • Strong understanding of cryptographic compliance and regulatory requirements.
  • Strong understanding of secure key lifecycle management principles.
