About the role

For our Sustainability Support Team within the PLD business, we are looking for a working student with up to 20 h / week for 1 year to support our team as soon as possible. The position can be located in Munich, Mannheim, Neuss or Witzenhausen.

What You Will Do

• Support desk research on emerging sustainability norms, regulations, and country-specific standards (e.g., bio-mass, life cycle assessment).

• Assist in coordinating data collection from suppliers and production sites, ensuring timely and accurate input for sustainability assessments.

• Help prepare presentations and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.

• Contribute to ongoing sustainability projects, including communication and follow-up with multiple stakeholders.

• Gain insights into corporate sustainability practices, life cycle thinking, and the dynamics of the PLD business.

Who You Are

• Currently enrolled in a university program in Sustainability, Engineering, Science, or a related field.

• Interested in environmental topics, circular economy, and eco-design as they relate to products and operations.

• Familiarity with life cycle assessment standards (ISO 14040/14044) and sustainability frameworks is a plus.

• Awareness of LCA software tools (e.g., SimaPro, GaBi) is desirable.

• Strong analytical skills and ability to work with data.

• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

• Well-organized with strong time management and project coordination skills.
