Requirements
  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field
  • Rising seniors or new graduates who recently finished their degree in Spring 2024
  • Strong interest in data engineering and a desire to learn and grow in this field
  • Some experience and strong familiarity with Python
  • Basic understanding of database concepts and SQL
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities

  • You are local to our Playa Vista HQ and are willing to come into the office 3 days a week!
Responsibilities
  • Assist in the design, development, and maintenance of data pipelines and ETL processes
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data requirements and ensure data quality and consistency
  • Help identify and resolve data-related issues and bottlenecks in the pipeline
  • Perform data cleansing, transformation, and aggregation tasks
  • Contribute to the documentation of data processes and workflows
  • Assist in optimizing data storage, retrieval, and processing
  • Learn and apply best practices in data engineering
  • Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in data engineering
  • Complete an program project for your team/department that impacts the business
  • At the end of your internship, you'll present your project and final product to department heads and your leadership team at our office in Playa Vista, CA
