Requirements
  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) is required.
  • Board Eligible or Board Certified in Psychiatry - American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN).
  • Completed a training program in Psychiatry at an accredited sponsoring institution - Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME).
  • Drivers License (Valid) - USA.
  • State License – Psychiatry - Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) - State Medical Board.
Responsibilities
  • Assess individuals served by the Assertive Community Treatment Team for mental health disorders and make an appropriate DSM diagnosis.
  • Ensure that services are delivered in a medically appropriate manner and care provided follows service definitions and best practices.
  • Review past treatments, evaluations, and other relevant information in order to develop an appropriate diagnosis and person centered plans and screens referrals in coordination with the other Assertive Community Treatment Team members.
  • Prescribe medication when appropriate.
  • Request diagnostic lab work when appropriate.
  • Maintain all necessary documentation and records which are necessary in the daily work of psychiatry in a timely manner. This may include the use of an Electronic Health Records system (EHR).
  • Provide education to individuals to aid in understanding their diagnosis (es) and recommend appropriate treatment. Involve/Educate family members and other supports in treatment when appropriate.
  • Encourage individuals to participate in mental health therapy when appropriate.
  • Collaborate, coordinate and consult with other providers such as counselors, psychologists, social workers and medical staff of other local providers, including but not limited to state hospitals, local hospitals, other community agencies, primary healthcare providers, CCNC, public Health Departments, Federally Qualified Health Clinics in order to discuss treatment plans, progress in services and where appropriate, the medical aspects of the person being supported and the implications for their physical healthcare needs.
  • Participate in staffing of complex or high risk individuals with other program staff.
  • Provide clinical supervision of all assigned physician assistants and nurse practitioners who will be added to his/her North Carolina medical license as the collaborating physician.
  • Attend and actively participate in meetings and training as required. Maintain certification in all agency, state and federal training requirements.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of and comply with all agency policies and procedures, as well as service definitions related to specific program areas.
  • Follow service definition guidelines for services being provided.
  • Complete all other relevant responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor.
  • Driving and Travel may be required.
  • Meet regularly with the other Assertive Community Treatment Team members to formulate and disseminate information and must be available by telephone.

Fontana Reports $835.9M Gross Profit Growth

Fontana Limited reported a Q3 2025 gross profit of $835.9 million, a 15.2% increase from the previous year, driven by a 15.3% rise in revenue to $2.2 billion.
