Requirements
  • Enrolled as a BS candidate in Mechanical Engineering or similar field
Responsibilities
  • Design high speed assembly equipment for the production of Insulet’s insulin Pods.
  • Develop cost effective and efficient engineered manufacturing solutions using computer modeling to run appropriate analyses.
  • Test, debug, and qualify completed equipment or assemblies to the required specifications and performance criteria at potentially both at Insulet and some local strategic partners.
  • Design and development process / manufacturing equipment for high volume, high speed, high precision assembly operation and complex industrial systems
  • Develop innovative and cost-effective solutions for manufacturing high volume medical goods products
  • Follow all Insulet’s policies and procedures
  • Support machine build and debug at local suppliers
  • Design and prototype manufacturing aids using SolidWorks, 3D printer, etc.
Desired Qualifications
  • CAD: Solidworks preferred, Pro/Engineer (Creo) a plus
  • Data Analysis: Minitab, JMP, Excel
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
