Requirements
- A four-year degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related functional field, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- At least 6 years of UI programming experience with advanced HTML, JavaScript, CSS, Ajax, and XSL.
- Familiarity with JavaScript libraries such as jQuery and Bootstrap, and frameworks such as Angular.
- Familiarity with backend service-layer integration, including authentication and third-party feeds, using Ajax and REST APIs.
- Familiarity or working knowledge of content management systems.
- Knowledge of best practices for designing responsive web applications.
- Familiarity with UI unit-testing and performance-testing tools.
- Familiarity with Jenkins or similar continuous-integration tools, and SVN or similar source-code-management systems.
- Experience with the full software development lifecycle and Agile software development methodologies.
- Strong organizational and troubleshooting skills with attention to detail.
- Strong knowledge of programming documentation processes and procedures.
- Ability to understand client expectations and resolve issues that may affect delivery.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a matrixed organization.
- Ability to learn beyond formal training and deliver quality products.
Responsibilities
- Develop and program user interfaces.
- Integrate backend service-layer functionality, including authentication and third-party feeds.
- Design responsive web applications.
- Perform UI unit testing and performance testing.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle.
- Mentor, coach, and train lower-level programmer analysts.
- Resolve client-related issues that may affect delivery.
