Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, Business Management, or a related field OR equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years in a managerial role within digital printing, direct mailing, or statement printing services.
  • Proven experience in sales and business development within the industry.
  • Experience with Xerox printers, Canon Image Press (700, 750, 1000), Canon Vario Print, Riso 9450, Pitney Bowes Mail Relay 8000, Neopost, or Quadient Mail Folder Inserters, and various cutting and finishing equipment.
  • Proficiency in software such as Excel, PDF format, Solimar, Planet Press, Connect, Flash XP, FTP, Oracle, Microsoft Suite, Mail Manager, and Command Fiery Workstation, AS/400, AIMS.
  • Strong knowledge of print production software, industry standards, and USPS mailing regulations/requirements – especially first-class pre-sort.
Responsibilities
  • Oversee the daily functions of the digital print and mail shop, ensuring smooth workflow and on-time service delivery.
  • Identify new revenue opportunities, develop client relationships, and expand the department’s market presence.
  • Hire, train, and manage print and mail staff, fostering a high-performing and engaged team.
  • Maintain high-quality standards for print and mail projects, ensuring accuracy and compliance with customer specifications.
  • Address customer inquiries and concerns professionally, delivering effective solutions to enhance satisfaction.
  • Monitor stock levels, minimize waste, and ensure all equipment is properly maintained and operational.
  • Develop work schedules, ensuring appropriate staffing coverage for peak periods and special projects.
  • Assist in budget preparation and monitor expenses to ensure cost-effectiveness and profitability.
  • Evaluate and refine operational processes to maximize efficiency and productivity.
  • Ensure all operations align with industry regulations and company policies.
