Requirements
  • Previous experience in a Hotel environment is essential
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in a Front Office supervisory or managerial capacity
  • Highly developed communication, negotiation and problem resolution skills
  • Systems savvy with great computer skills, including experience using OPERA
  • Ability to work across a rotating 7 day roster, including early mornings, nights, weekends and public holidays
  • Collaborative approach to work, ensuring the facilitation of efficient daily handovers with colleagues
  • Comfortable and confident in a crisis stepping up as the Hotel's first responder in an emergency
  • Current First Aid/CPR certification
  • Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Certificate
  • Open Manual drivers license without restriction
Responsibilities
  • Oversee all aspects of Hotel operations on shift to deliver a unique guest experience that brings the Hotel X brand to life
  • Drive performance and engagement within the team
  • Ensure team members receive the right learning and development opportunities to maximize performance
  • Support all departments and facilitate efficient daily handovers with colleagues
  • Manage resourcing to optimize productivity and operational efficiency without compromising on service
  • Step up as the Hotel's first responder in an emergency
