Tombras, a 400+ person, full-service, national advertising agency with a digital mindset, is seeking an Accounting Manager

Where you’ll be working: Knoxville

What you’ll be doing

Prepare and manage up to 20 different client’s billings and related payables
Interact with Account Service teams to facilitate client billing
Monitor internal processes to verify open orders and pending payables
Prepare ad hoc reports for Account Service teams and clients
Work with Director of Accounting on month close and client income reporting
Manage a team of 2-3 staff accountants

What you bring

5 + years’ experience in an Accounting or a Finance role
Advanced level skills in Excel / Google Sheets
Strong attention to detail
Ability to prioritize tasks and work under tight deadlines
Desire to mentor accounting staff
Ability to identify issues and develop / implement effective solutions
Experience in cultivating strong relationships across departments to support collaboration with the accounting team
Mindset geared toward operational optimization and process improvements
Prior experience with NetSuite ERP preferred
Experience working in a Mac environment, including Google Suite and Adobe preferred
Prior experience in an advertising, marketing, media, or startup environment is a plus
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required
