Requirements
  • A Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field is required.
  • One year of accounting or finance experience is preferred.
  • Ability to work with computer databases and spreadsheet software, with a strong understanding of Excel.
  • Ability to sit for extended periods of time.
Responsibilities
  • Participate in the WVU Medicine budget process, including data entry and analysis.
  • Assist in completing and compiling financial support documentation for the budget.
  • Evaluate financial processes and reports to maximize efficiency and implement the results of those evaluations.
  • Develop and submit analytical financial data and information to support department leaders.
  • Perform department reconciliations and analysis.
  • Perform accounting-related functions and submit accurate financial data during the month-end process.
  • Perform billing for various departments and conduct accounts receivable reconciliations and analysis.
  • Perform productivity analysis and reporting.
  • Support performance improvement and quality assurance initiatives.
