Requirements
- The candidate must be at least 21 years old.
- The candidate must have at least five years of residential heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning installation experience and knowledge.
- The candidate must have a valid local driver's license with a clean driving record.
- The candidate must be able to pass a drug screen, background record check, and motor vehicle record check.
- The candidate must be able to work effectively with crew partners and independently with accuracy.
- The candidate must have strong mechanical aptitude and customer service skills.
- The candidate must be able to exercise independent judgment and make informed decisions.
- The candidate must be able to organize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- The candidate must be knowledgeable and skilled in the safe use and maintenance of required tools.
Responsibilities
- Perform heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning installations with attention to detail and quality.
- Collaborate with team members and other departments to optimize processes and ensure seamless operations.
- Drive and maintain company vehicles to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Serve customers by analyzing work orders, following daily travel schedules, listening to customer concerns, performing designated work, and proactively solving problems.
- Cooperate with other departments to continually improve process and information flow.
- For each installation job, request necessary parts and equipment in advance and verify that the truck is properly loaded with all materials needed to complete the job.
- Document work performed in accordance with company procedures.
- Provide guidance to assistants or apprentices and share knowledge.
- Keep personal tools and equipment operable and up to date.
- Maintain current knowledge of heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning codes and standards.
- Maintain professional conduct and appearance in all working conditions.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by a supervisor or manager.
