Requirements
  • Creating, analyzing and balancing a game economy with interdependent factors such as virtual currencies, battle passes and loot boxes
  • Balancing economic factors to ensure the player has multiple viable paths for progressing
  • Understanding the short and long-term effects of balancing a game economy
  • Collaborating with systems designers to create satisfying and economically sustainable features
  • Validating design decisions through simulation models
  • Designing game economies, monetization methods and live services
  • Understanding the relationship between a game's economy and its progression systems
