Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in Industrial Hygiene, Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Health, Chemical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
  • At least 10 years of experience managing Industrial Hygiene or Occupational Health programs, conducting qualitative and quantitative exposure assessments, and implementing occupational health frameworks in corporate real estate or facilities environments.
Responsibilities
  • Partner with leadership to direct long-term strategy and embed occupational health standards into global architectural and mechanical, electrical, and plumbing design guidelines.
  • Direct corporate workplace Industrial Hygiene programs covering indoor air quality, acoustics, lighting, ergonomics, and chemical and biological exposure controls.
  • Lead pre-occupancy baseline testing of air, water, and noise, and partner with construction and operations teams to ensure day-one operational readiness.
  • Monitor environmental quality complaints and workplace incidents, using root-cause insights to improve design and operational standards.
  • Oversee the global Industrial Hygiene audit lifecycle, manage exposure assessment databases, and analyze trend data to enforce worldwide regulatory compliance with OSHA, EU-OSHA, and WHO.
  • Lead complex, multidisciplinary global initiatives to anticipate, recognize, evaluate, and control workplace environmental stressors.
  • Define technical and operational Industrial Hygiene requirements with internal partners and guide workplace environments through design, construction, and daily operations.
  • Manage program schedules, proactively mitigate health risks, and communicate strategic goals to cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Provide enterprise-level leadership in developing occupational health and Industrial Hygiene programs across the global corporate real estate portfolio.
  • Design tools, exposure assessment frameworks, and mitigation procedures that protect the corporate workforce.
  • Develop a comprehensive workplace health strategy, evaluate exposure risks, establish data-driven feedback loops, and execute work plans against corporate health and wellness objectives.
  • Identify, evaluate, and monitor enterprise risks that could affect business activities, and provide business leaders with information for critical decisions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create strategies and develop programs that drive sustainable effectiveness.
Desired Qualifications
  • A Certified Industrial Hygienist credential or equivalent international credential, such as Registered Occupational Hygienist or Certified Occupational Hygienist.
  • Strong background in HVAC and ventilation design, indoor air quality, acoustics, or healthy building standards such as WELL or LEED.
  • Ability to troubleshoot data, interpret laboratory analytics, manage exposure registries, and deliver actionable mitigations.
  • Demonstrated project management skills to plan, scope, and execute Industrial Hygiene programs across complex global matrixed environments.
  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills to navigate cross-functional dynamics and influence executive-level stakeholders.
