Requirements
  • Strong skills in developing, coding, and deploying distribution mechanisms.
  • Familiarity with Windows and Linux operating systems as they pertain to tool and file permissions and execution.
  • Strong programming experience, including Bash, Perl, and Git.
  • A bachelor's degree in an information technology engineering field.
  • U.S. citizenship or lawful permanent resident status is required.
  • Ability to use personal transportation to visit customer locations.
  • Ability to meet business deadlines by staying late or arriving early.
  • Ability to work typical eight-hour days, 40-hour weeks, and required core hours from 9 AM to 4 PM.
Responsibilities
  • Support the user community by fielding issues reported by designers running the tool.
  • Work closely with the ADT triage team to address open tickets responsively.
  • Support, define, and manage the tool build process to improve tool support.
  • Answer user support questions about tool issues.
  • Work with users to identify issues, research problems, propose solutions, and correct tools or the distribution environment.
  • Create and update logs of issues and corrective actions.
  • Provide timely communications about significant issues.
  • Prepare and present reports on findings.
  • Work with internal IT teams to improve the performance and reliability of the distribution process.
  • Perform substantial telephone and computer work in mostly office environments, with occasional shop-floor involvement.
  • Follow procedures in heavily regulated industries.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience programming or debugging in C, C++, and/or Fortran.
  • Experience adopting or integrating emerging technologies such as generative artificial intelligence, automation platforms, and digital assistants into day-to-day operations for continuous improvement.
