Requirements
  • 8+ years of combined experience in a systems engineering, telecommunications, information technology or technical consulting capacity
  • EV charging backend, Telematics or Energy Management experience beneficial
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills – English desired, German considered highly beneficial
  • Strong customer facing and relationship building skills
  • Team player
  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Engineering, Science, Mathematics, or equivalent preferred
Responsibilities
  • Maintain deep technical and business knowledge of electric vehicle and fleet directions and trends, and how to effectively integrate electric vehicles and charging infrastructure into fleet and business operations.
  • Develop and deliver technical proposals to partners and customers in support of the sales process, educating potential customers on the benefits of ChargePoint solutions
  • Act as a technical consultant, learning and understanding customer needs and developing the right solutions; working with product and solutions management to help align development activities with customer and market needs (focused on the up-to-Day 0 phase).
  • Providing technical training on our products and solutions to partners
  • Maintain knowledge of the competitive landscape and how to sell against the competition
  • Responsible for identifying technical issues that may affect customer satisfaction and proactively working to resolve such issues
  • Provide both general “best practice” and customer-specific engineering recommendations for ChargePoint software feature usage, API implementations, and integrations with external systems.
  • Respond to functional and technical elements of RFPs/Tenders; assist in the development and execution of SoWs (statements of work) and other proposals
  • You will be responsible for the proper handover to the Program Management team in order to create a smooth Day 0 to Day 1 transition.
  • Respond to Information Security / Information Technology (IS/IT) questions related to network security and data privacy
