Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or related field.
Responsibilities
  • Collect, organize, and analyze financial data to prepare accurate reports.
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Support monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting cycles.
  • Help monitor company performance metrics and highlight trends or discrepancies.
  • Work with accounting staff on reconciliations, general ledger support, and compliance with GAAP and FAR/DCAA requirements.
  • Support the use and optimization of financial systems including Deltek Vantagepoint and Microsoft Dynamics.
  • Create dashboards and reports in Power BI to track KPIs and financial performance.
  • Assist with automating workflows using Power Automate and other tools to reduce manual effort.
  • Help document financial processes and recommend improvements for efficiency and accuracy.
  • Collaborate with IT and Finance teams to troubleshoot system issues and support integrations.
Desired Qualifications
  • 2-4 years of experience in financial analysis, accounting, or systems/process improvement (internships or co-op experience welcome).
  • Hands-on experience with Power BI, Excel, or automation tools is a plus.
  • Familiarity with financial ERP systems (Deltek, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar).
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to analyze data for accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Eagerness to learn and grow in both financial and systems-focused areas.
