About the role:
The Senior Manager of Content will report into one of our Directors of Marketing, and work closely with the Product Marketing and Education teams. Collectively, this part of the Marketing org is focused not only on attracting more Bubble users to the platform and making Bubble an easier, more intuitive platform to build on, but also on inspiring loyalty and retention amongst the companies growing and scaling their business on the platform.
We’re looking for someone who is an excellent, influential writer and who is well practiced in audience building. They will be responsible for developing our content & editorial strategy to reach more founders and developers, and executing on that content creation. This individual will manage and grow their own team, and also work cross functionally and mentor others.
As our Senior Manager of Content, you will:
- Design our content strategy: develop and manage an editorial and education strategy & roadmap designed not only to reach more founders and developers but also to pioneer the benefits of no-code
- Develop and launch new educational content:oversee the creation and development of new educational content; partner with cross functional teams to promote new learnings and increase utilization of new and existing features.
- Tell customer stories:work directly with founders and developers to tell customer stories and use the Bubble platform to amplify their success and learnings
- Use insights to inform strategy:use data and industry research to inform content strategy and identify opportunities to continually improve the top of the funnel.
- Grow top of funnel:work closely with Product Marketing and Growth marketing teams to fuel top of funnel and accelerate the overall growth of our ecosystem.
Qualifications:
- BA in creative writing, journalism, or related field
- 5-6 years of content marketing experience, ideally at a PLG company AND/OR in the start-up or developer ecosystem
- Background in creating editorial strategies and content for founders or developers
- Experience managing an internal team, as well as contractors & freelance writers

We offer competitive compensation aligned to tier one markets, such as New York City, San Francisco, and Seattle. Our estimated salary for this role at Bubble ranges from $123,000 to $167,000. Actual pay is determined by multiple factors such as skills, qualifications, experience and market demand.
